قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
آپ عرض کیجئے کہ میں (سب) انسانوں کے رب کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں
Beseech: ‘I seek refuge with the Lord of (the whole of) mankind,
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
جو (سب) لوگوں کا بادشاہ ہے
Who is the King of (all) mankind,
إِلَهِ النَّاسِ
جو (ساری) نسلِ انسانی کا معبود ہے
Who is the God of the (whole) human race,
مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
وسوسہ انداز (شیطان) کے شر سے جو (اﷲ کے ذکر کے اثر سے) پیچھے ہٹ کر چھپ جانے والا ہے
From the evil of slinking whisperer (Satan) who hides himself withdrawing (from the influence of Allah’s remembrance),
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
جو لوگوں کے دلوں میں وسوسہ ڈالتا ہے
Who whispers into the hearts of mankind,
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ
خواہ وہ (وسوسہ انداز شیطان) جنات میں سے ہو یا انسانوں میں سے
Whether he (the whispering Satan) comes from the jinn or mankind.’
