Wishes will only take me to a fantasy land
 
I say over and over again,
I'll never give up.
all i want is my old life back,
all i want is that love.

I want my old friends,
i don't want to know tears,
i just wish to smile one more time,
i just wish more people would hear.

I wish to turn back time
and redo my awful mistakes,
i want to be who i was once before,
i wish so many wishes, i wither away

I wish upon each star
and pray to God each night,
i know He hears me
but he also want me to fight.

wishes will only take me to a fantasy land
but when your heart is aching
never give up, just stand strong,
you are your best friend.
