I sit alone at the sea-shore

I sit alone at the sea-shore
Looking at the waves
I send the boats of leaves
With my words
“Come ‘n’ be with me
I’m waitin’ for you…!”
Under the tree
Or on the branch O’it
Where together we used to sit
I engrave my words on it
“Come ‘n’ be with me
I’m waitin’ for you”
In the village streets
Hands in hands
We used to walk
Now I walk alone
And sing…
“Come ‘n’ be with me
I’m waitin’ for you”
