Bohat he mudat k baad kal jab
kitab-e-mazi ko main ny khola.......
bohat sy chehry nazar mein utrey..........
bohat sy namoon py dil paseeja.
1 aisa safha bhi us mein aya.............
likha huwa tha jo ansuon sy..
k jis ka unwan "humsafar" tha.........
yeh safha sab sy he motbar tha..........
kuch aur ansoo phir us pay tapkey...
phir us say aagey main parh na paya.........
kitab-e-mazi ko band kar key
usi ki yadon man kho gaya main................
agar woh milta to kaisa hota
inhe khayalon mean soo gaya main.......
