kabhi yaad ayen to poochna zara apni khilwat-e-sham se
kise ishq tha teri zaat se kise pyar tha tere naam se.
Zara yaad kar k wo kon tha,jo kabhi tujhe bhi aziz tha.
Wo jo jee uthay tere naam se,wo jo mar mitey tere naam se.
Humen be-rukhi ka nahi gila k yehi wafaon ka hai sila.
Na kabhi visal ki chah ki,na kabhi firaq ma aah ki.
K mera tareeq-e-bandagi hai juda tareeq-e-aam se.
