Aaj Dil Bahat Udas Hai,
Aaj Dil Ki Tum Na Baat Karo,

Jo sar-e-shaam Guzray Ge dil Pa mera,
woh Sham bhi Bahat Udas Hai,

Na khushi na Gum Na Ansoo Na Hansi,
Meray Dil Pa Guzarta Hai jo,

Woh ahsas Bahat Udas Hai,
Woh Tariqian woh Udasian,

Woh Tamam Shab Ki Besat thi,
Aab koi nahi Hai Khayal Me,
