Only a DREAM
 
I miss you more each and every day
Your smile is a million miles away
I’m lost without your arms around me
I’m not where I want to be

Life isn’t worth living without you near
You’re way over there and I’m still here
A telephone or letter can keep us in touch
But I want to be with you so much

How long can a heart hold onto a dream
I know it’s not as long as it may seem
Each day seems longer than the last
Should I have left my dream in the past

This is my dream you see
To just be together you and me
You are a dream I wish to come true
By now you must know I love you
