koi ajnabi sham dhale gher aya tha
 
koi ajnabi sham dhale gher aya tha
kiya kis ka payam laya tha?

woh dulhan bani bathi rah tak rahi thi
kiya kaha us ke mahbob se mil ker aya tha

ajnabi na jane kuch khe ker chala gaya
us ka kajal chere per pheel aya tha

WOH kaha chala gaya woh kaise bulti
us ka rong rong kapta kamre main aya tha

nargis ke pholon main sajhi is dulhan ko
woh kaise kanton per charah aya tha

kitna bebas kar diya us larki ke khiyalon ko
ak haqiqat tor gai us ke khwabon ko

jis gali se ani thi barat us ki
us gali se janaza aya tha
