Mere ashq jitne nikalte rahe
Diye meri palko pe jalte rahe

Wo lamho ki kaisi mulakat thi
Ki taa jeesta arma machalte rahe

Wo shikve gile karke chup ho gaye
Magar karvaten hum badalte rahe

Kisi ne bujhane ki kosis na ki
Jo ghar jal rahe the wo jalte rahe

Nasheman hamara jala to jala
tumhare to arma nikalte rahe

jalne walon ka kya tajkira
sada jalne wale to jalte rahe.
