Samandar to samandar hai, kabhi bola nahin kertay,

Khamosh lehje mere hamdam kabhi bola nahin kertay,
Dard-o-gham ko her kisi k samnay khola nahin kertay,

Mohabbat to mohabbat hai,
Bari anmol hoti hai,

Mohabbat ko tarazu main kabhi tola nahin kertay,
Mere khamosh rehne per koi ilzam mat dena,
