rootha howa ek dost

Aaj rootha howa ek dost bohat yaad aya
acha gozra howa woh waqt bohat yaad aaya

meray ankho k her ek ashk ronay waala
aaj jab ankh yeh royi to bohat yaad aaya

jo meray dard ko seenay mai chupa layta tha
aaj jab dard howa mujh ko to bohat yaad aaya

jo meri ankh mai rehta tha kajal ki tarha
aaj kajal jo lagaya to bohat yaad aaya

jo meray dil k qareeb tha faqat os ko bhi
aaj jab dil nay boollaya to bohat yaad aaya
