Ek roz tum ne thama tha hath mera hath

mere hath se tumhare hath ki khushbu n i jati

tum buhat pyar se pukarte the naam mera

mere kaano se tumhari wo awaz n i jati

mein bulata bhi n i tha or tum a jate the

ab bulane pr bhi meri awaz tum tk n i jati

bas chuke ho tum meri nas nas mein l u ki tarha

meri ulfat tumhari rooh mein utar kyun nhi jati

mein janta hoon ye sheher ye rastey tumhare n i

phir bhi mere dil se intezar ki adat n i jati
