Zindagi kabhi haseen hua kerti thi

Zindagi kabhi haseen hua kerti thi,
Hanstay khailtay or masoom qehqay,

Fikr-o-gham kia hota hay,
Yeh soch hua kerti thi,

Doston ki dosti or baron ka pyaar,
Choti Choti khushiyon per hansi ki bahaar,

Bus! itni e hamari chahat hua kerti thi,
Woh doston ko nao chizen dikha ker itrana,

Or dadi ki kahaniyaan suntay huay,
Baadlon per shaklen banana,

Din or Raat younhi beet jaya kerti thi,
Zindagi kitni Befiker hua kerti thi...!
