aik nazm pesh ker raha houN zindagi ke utar cherhaao pe
Umeed he pasand aaye gii DoustouN ke naam



KalyouN ko choomtaa houN aise hii
MosamouN maiN jhoomtaa houN aise hii
Mere hountouN ke lams se
KalyaaN muskaatii haiN
Bhanware geet gaate haiN

ek tuu chalii gaii tu kiaa huwaa
BaghouN maiN phool youN hii khilte haiN
Mujh se mosam youN hii milte haiN

ek tuu na rahii tu kia ghem he
ShaadmanyaaN her simet bikhrii haiN aise hii
Jaise charaagh-e-shaam jalte haiN aise hii
Jaise roshniiyaaN bikhertii haiN aise hii
tuu mera gham mett kernaa
Sada khoush rehnaa

MaiN bhi khoush hii rehtaa houN
