RANBOW Cake

Cake base is made with a little coconut and I have taken "The White cake " ( old recipe from 1957) when I made the recipe of the bottoms . White pipes absorbs lighter color. To make this cake takes about 90 minutes from start to finish decorated cake . Allow at least 2 hours then release the stress. Here is the recipe ... You will need: - 1-5 round shapes approx 22-24 cm size . - Preheat oven to 160 C - hot air . The bottoms : - 500 g sugar - 280 g butter - 7 egg whites from large eggs - 600 g flour - 4 teaspoons baking powder - 3 teaspoons vanilla extract - 3 cups milk - 2 teaspoons SP or 4 tbsp Maizena ( Maizena mixed with flour ) - 8 tablespoons shredded coconut - 5 different food coloring ( Ameri Color or Wilton, purchased at such Kakeboksen.no ) Add a few tablespoons Malibu or Bols banana for even more " tropical taste ". Begin by whipping the butter until creamy . Whip looked into the sugar until you have a nice, white cream . Separate the egg whites from the yolks and add half of the egg whites . Beat well , preferably in 2 min. Add the rest of the egg whites and beat for 2 minutes to . ( Add the SP now if you use it . ) Be sure to scrape the edges occasionally. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl and stir lightly therein. Aim half of the dry and half of the milk in the batter. Mix this well together. Then add the rest of the dry and the rest of the milk. After it is mixed into stir in coconut pulp with a spatula etc. Now batter finished! Now the batter equally divided in 5 smaller bowls . I appreciate each bowl and has about 400 g eggs in every since the batter weighs about 2000 g When you have done this you every color eggs in different colors. I chose orange, pink , purple , blue and green. Spread the batter into the molds , one color in each shape. I only had 3 shapes and fried 2 and 2, this went just fine . Remember when you just have to let the cake rest 5 minutes before you fall over it after you 've taken it out of the oven. Cooking time is about 14-18 min if you use a 22-24 -cm form . Let cool on a rack bottoms . Put them in the fridge so they cool down and " gets " faster. http://passion4vintage.com/wp-conten...10-629x493.jpg To frost and decorate this cake I used cream cheese frosting with banana flavor. So banana frosting :) Here I use some Bols Banana in order to highlight it. But you can also spend some tropical juice or just cream cheese frosting if you do not like banana flavor. You also use a little frosting between each layer of cake and "paste" this together. For the cream you will need: - 175 g butter - 300 g Philadelphia cheese - 750 g icing sugar (1.5 pk.) - 4 tablespoons Bols Banana Liqueur (you do not have this then you can use eg. Tropical juice, etc.) Beat together butter and cream cheese first. The cream will be running jmer you whips. Spe viewed with some and some powdered sugar. Once you've whipped into half of the icing sugar you add flavor, ie 4 tablespoons of banana liqueur, etc. Then add the rest of the icing sugar. You will get a soft and smooth cream that stands by itself. It is important not to have too much sugar in the order you will get an overly stiff cream. http://passion4vintage.com/wp-conten...01-629x450.jpg |
