For those of you, who have to work for long hours on the computer, your eyes are put to undue strain. Here are a few tips on how to relax them:-
:cutee: Don’t work on a computer for long hours at a stretch. Take short breaks in between. Take a stroll outside in the fresh air for a few minutes. Observe greenery and all green things around. Green color is said to be soothing and relaxing to the eyes. This will give your eyes, the much needed rest.
:cutee: If you can’t take a break, then at least look at distant objects either in your office or outside. Looking at a distant object and then returning to your task helps your eyes focus better. Blink your eyes frequently. Try taking such visual breaks for about five to 10 minutes every hour.
:cutee: During breaks, splash water on your face while closing your eyes. This has an overall relaxing effect on the eyes.
:cutee: Exercise your eyes. A very simple and easy way to exercise your eyes at work is to keep your eyes closed and then roll your eyeballs both clockwise and anticlockwise for a minute. Then open your eyes and get back to work. It serves as a good workout for the eyes.
:cutee: Drink plenty of water. It helps reduce puffiness. When a person is dehydrated, especially in an air-conditioned office, the body starts storing water, which adds to puffiness around the eyes.
