THREE THINGS TO DO TONIGHT!
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "If any ruler having the authority to rule Muslim subjects dies while he is deceiving them, Allah will forbid Paradise for him."
[Bukhari]
1. Make sure to do lots of taubah & istighfaar tonight. Pray that may Allah forgive us for our sins and remove our difficulties from us.
2. Make lots of duaa – ask Allah to bless us with righteous leadership, those who will do justice to their positions, fulfill the rights of the people & uphold the deen of Islam.
For us it may be difficult to imagine but for Allah it is easy.
O’ Turner of hearts! Turn our hearts towards Your deen!
اللّهمّ لا تُسلّطْ عَليْنا بِذُنوْبِنا من لاَّ يَخَافُكَ فيْنا وَلاَ يَرْحَمنا
“O Allah! Do not impose on us rulers due to our sins – who do not fear you regarding us and are not merciful to us.” [at-Tirmidhi]
3. Pray Salat al-Istikhaarah, then put your complete trust in Allah.
May Allah have mercy on us.
