Then whence
the watering can?
For yet...
the sun be low...
so far…
the shadows long...
casting spells
on a tender shoot
labile little green
though it be fresh
by itself shy refresh
springing life
like
a crack in parched dawn
like
breeze at beautiful morn
like
breath of fresh air
like
sustaining love repair…
soon it shall be warm
out of way of harm…
adorned with trinkets charms
and loving embrace of arms…
