The tiger (Panthera Tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.3 meters (11 ft) and weighing up to 306 kg (670 lb).
Only five subspecies of tiger exist in the world
The largest of the subspecies is the Amur (or Siberian) Tiger
The Sumatran Tiger is the smallest of the subspecies
Unusually for Cats, Tigers enjoy water and are very strong swimmers
