Couldn't agree anymore...Perhaps a peaceful protest would be more suitable? We done the peaceful protest already when it came to Facebook first time remember?. So that didn't work and eventually facebook got open in Pakistan again. They will keep doing this things until we all muslim countries stand together against such acts.

Jee han I've visited that thread also that u had mentioned before! and I guess Pakistan took the right descision at that point to show their discomfort in a very peaceful way and it did had the affect Sir as If I remember correctly, That page was deleted from the Fb. So In my opinion, It did work :)

This time also, I guess Pakistan's response on that issue is quite reasonable. They r doing peaceful protests and I haven't seen or heared them burning down building or killing the minorities over that which is a very good thing. I've seen some statments of protests on the part of the Politicians like Shehbaaz Sharif and Chaudray Shujaat Ali which is also very reasonable. They r telling the world abt their discomfort and their grieviences through a peaceful yet powerful way! :)
Besides, lets face the fact sir that we r living in a world of globalization and it is litterally impossible for us to stop every single person from saying or doing whatever they r saying or doing. This video is not any official Holly Wood movie. Its some home made production. the quality of that video is very poor indeed and any person with sane mind would consider it a complete rubbish. So to expect from the US authorities to apologise for that wud also be a bit too much. Obama did condemned it but then again coz of the coming elections he can't do much when he is getting the remarks of "having soft corner for Muslims".
So In my opinion, the best thing to do is to tackle the issue with some intellect and try to spread the awareness abt the true meaning and teachings of Islam. This would be the perfect Jihaad that we wud all be doing with pen.

Thanks for going through my old comments on that thread. Removal of page didn't work out. If that so this wouldn't be happening. What I am saying is that we have to settle an example so that anyone before doing this should think about this. Have you heard anything like this before 2005 ? or so. Now it's look like anyone can do this because we do protest in a peaceful way and forget about it and when it comes to our PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H). Hmmm Jee han Noor sis, that issue is a hot debate topic these dayz. I truly condemn the making of that film but I don't agree with few Muslims burning down the property and hotels and destroying the foreign embassies.
My response to that film is :

“Our Prophet's (P.B.U.H) honor came from the sky. No one on earth can take it away.
We shouldn't be mad at haters. We should feel sorry for them. They can't harm us. They can't harm Allah's deen. Just themselves."

First of all let's be very clear that whoever made that blasphemous movie knew the consequences,All this has been done on purpose,The timing was perfect i.e 9/11 and things exactly followed as they planned,Muslims started rioting all around the globe burning their own property and killing their own people,Unfortunately we fell for it,

This will only strengthen the Israeli Zionist lobby sitting in the Pentagon,Nobody will question the responsible man behind this fire but instead they'll portray us all Muslims as the bad guy,Killing an American who had nothing to do with that movie.

We MUST protest but with sanity and dignity. Burning down the buildings or killing other innocent people is not the reply to that.

U r most welcome :) and I totally agree with you that we need to set an example of peaceful yet powerful protests which will make sure that such incidents don't arrive every now and then!. As for to your question that this was not the case before 2005, I have some reservations on that. These kind of attacks against Islam are not a new thing. This has happened in past also and If I remember well Its basic roots go back to Middle Ages when a Jewish/Christian scholar called Huntington had presented the theory of "Clash of Civilizations" in which he had tried to contrast both Islamic and western Civilization. After that, the same thing came abt in a novel or book By Rushdie and there was great Controversy created on that then the cartoon issue raised and now there is this issue of the film. So clearly that battle has its roots long in the history. The difference is only that before it was only in published world and now with new technology this is becoming more evident and visible.
In the past also, whenever such a case arrived, the Muslim intellectuals handled the situation in a very efficient way and proved their theories and blames to be completly wrong. This time also, in my humble opinion, the intellectual and political pressure and protest is the answer to that, but here By no means I'm saying that the culprits should not be punished. They should be convicted of that abominable crime and be punished as per Islamic law but Innocents and local people and property should not be damaged under any circumstance. :)
I agree to your later comment that this act of making a film was by no means be considered in the freedom of speech criteria. Freedom of speech clearly has its limitations and it alwayz comes with responsability. The culprits shud be held convicted but There shud not be any burning down of buildings or killings of innocents. A violant reaction can never bring peace! :)
