My laptop is not turning on. I hit the power button, the fans and lights go on, but then it shuts off within about three, four seconds

Pari , Try this.

Take off the battery.
Pluged in the charger cable and hit the power button..

*agrees wid Dream* I had the same problem, all I had to do is to take out the battery n keep my lappy on charging. I'm sure it ll work for u too.

Its still not working!
And my laptop iz gettin really hot
And now I m not even hitting power button any more but it keeps turnin on and off by itself

Do you get any message on da cmd or blue screen or its not going that far ?

Nop but I called this guy I met at starucks hee told me if u need any help with computer call me and he iz not even answering and how do I call hp support they didn't giv me any contact number

Does the start leaving only a blinking cursor in the upper-right corner or just nothing ?
If you press ESC do you get thiis menu ?
F1 System Information
F2 System Diagnostics
F9 Boot Device Options
F10 BIOS Setup
F11 System Recovery

Or nothing happens?

If it's motherboard problem. I am afraid you can't fix it yourself. You have to give it for the repair. This is the problem with the electronics thing that when they run they run smooth but when they good prob, lots of thing have to check for that cause.

- Battery
-Graphic card
- LCD may be?
- Ram problem (Just a guest with minor doubt)
- Motherboard ( Last thing to check and solution is to give it for repair).
