Chicken fried masala
Ingredients
Chicken boneless 1/2kg
Yogurt 125g
Chopped onions 1
Chopped green chilies 2-3
Ground almonds 25g
Turmeric 1tsp
All spice powder 1tsp
Ground cumin 1tsp
Red chili powder 1tbsp
Lemon juice 2tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
Tomato puree 2tbsp
Oil 2tbsp
Fresh cream 2tbsp
Chopped coriander 2tbsp
Aluminum foil as required
Oil for frying
Salt as required
Method;-
1. Cut the chicken into cubes
2. In a bowl mix together the finely chopped onions, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander, ginger garlic paste ,red chili powder, all spice powder, cumin powder, cream ,yogurt, lemon juice, tomato puree and 2tbsps of oil.
3. Coat the chicken with the marinade and leave aside
4. In the meantime soak the almonds in lukewarm water and peel them
5. Now grind the almonds in a grinder
6. Place and aluminum foil and cut into squares.
7. Place the chicken pieces on top of the foil squares, sprinkle the ground almond on top and wrap to form packets
8. Heat oil in a wok and fry the packets in patches of two or three
9. When done you can either serve the chicken masala wrapped or unwrapped
