INGREDIENTS:
3 table spoon oil
... 750g lamb meat with its bones or 1 chicken 900 g
3 onion cut in to small pieces
8 cups or 2 liter water
3/4 tea spoon black pepper
3/4 tea spoon cumin
3/4 tea spoon ground green cardamom
salt
3 tomato sauce
2 .1/5 cups rice
1 cup of mixed nuts
Method:
In a pot put the oil and heat then add the onion followed by meat or chicken and stir from time to time until it takes a golden color.
Add the spices ( black pepper- cumin – green cardamom)
Add the tomato sauce
Add water
Cover the pot and bring in to low heat for one and a half hour
When the meat is well done add the rice and cover the pot again bring in to low heat until the rice is well done
Pure the rice in a serving plate add the meat on top if you prefer design with roasted nuts on top and boiled carrot as you shred!!
