The combustion plant Maishima in Osaka for sure is a masterpiece of industrial architecture. The plant looks like some amusement park that happened to be found in the functional zone. Technology is not the main thing of the plant, of course. The more important is the sunny architecture that surprisingly doesn't make the construction much more expensive.
