Increasing your AMD K6 processor speed is known as overclocking,

as you are forcing to run the chip over

and above the manufacturer's stated recommendations.

Accomplish this by manipulating the chip speed through the BIOS of your AMD computer,

manually manipulating the speed settings of the chip to force it

to execute additional commands per second.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Restart your AMD computer.

2: Press the key indicated during the startup messages to enter BIOS.

This will typically be one of the F keys.

3: Highlight "Advanced Settings" and press "Enter".

4: Highlight "FSB Frequency" and press "Enter".

5: Enter a value higher than the default to overclock the K6 chip.
