Spicy Chicken burger (patty with roasted bell and habanero peppers).
Served with Chili crisps and coleslaw.
This is a mix of two great recipes of Guy's, so in love with it. Never disappoints me!
Ingredients
2 ounces olive oil or any vegetable oil.
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley leaves
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt to taste.
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
2 tablespoons bread crumbs ( I ground fresh with garlic)
1 egg
1 red Bell pepper, sliced
2 very hot habanero pepper
Garlic Mayo
Ketchup
Mustard
Toasted sesame buns
Lettuce
Tomato
Directions
1: On the grill, smoke the red capsicum and habanero peppers, be careful it has a strong smoke.
2: Add the smoked peppers and all the spices to the minced raw chicken and mix thoroughly. Add the egg and crumbs. Thoroughly mix all ingredients and form into 4 huge patties (or more if you like). Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3: Shallow fry the patties or grill with some oil.
4: On the toasted bun, put mayo, ketchup and mustard, place the patty and finish it off with the Fresh Vegetables. Enjoy with Fresh Coleslaw, nachos and Fresh lime!
