Ingredients
1 no. Green chilliClick to find more about Green chilli
1 kg Beef
1 teaspoon SaltClick to find more about Salt
1 inch GingerClick to find more about Ginger
4 nos. GarlicClick to find more about Garlic cloves
3/4 cup Yoghurt
1 tablespoon Garam masala
Preparation
Cut the beef into 4cm cubes, chop the chilli fine, grate the gingerClick to find more about ginger and crush the garlicClick to find more about garlic.
Put the beef into a bowl, add saltClick to find more about salt, gingerClick to find more about ginger, garlicClick to find more about garlic and chilli and mix well. Leave covered for an hour. Add yoghurt and garam masala and leave covered for 2 hours longer.
Thread the beef cubes, about four at a time, onto skewers. Grill, or babecue, for about 710 minutes, turning so that all sides of the meat are evenly cooked.
Brush once or twice with the marinade.
Serve on a bed of rice or with naan.
