INSTANT DAHI WADA
Jeera biscuit wada served with chilled yogurt.
Preparation Time : 10-15 minutes
Servings : 4
INGREDIENTS
Jeera Butter Biscuits
8 large
Thin buttermilk
4 cups
Yogurt, whisked
2 1/2 cups
Rock salt (sendha namak)
1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder
1 teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder
1 teaspoon
Sweet date and tamarind chutney
1/2 cup
Fresh coriander leaves
1/4 cup
METHOD
Soak jeera butter biscuits in buttermilk for eight to ten minutes till soft. Drain, lightly squeeze with your palms and set aside. Alternatively, you can soak the biscuits in four cups of warm water for four to five minutes and drain.Place two soaked biscuits into a serving bowl, pour chilled yogurt over them and serve garnished with rock salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, sweet date and tamarind chutney and coriander leaves. Make other servings similarly and serve.
