wohi hosley mere dum-b'dum tere baad bhi
tere saath bhi teri her jafa mujhe mo'tabar
tere saare gham mujhe mohtaram tere baad bhi

tere gham se hai meri her khushi mein waqar sa
mere haal pe hein tere karam tere baad bhi
barre muztarib mere raaste tere bina
barre pur-sukoon mere qadam tere baad bhi

tere saath thi meri her khushi teri muntazir
teri muntazir meri chashm-e-num tere baad bhi
tere saath thi meri dastaras mein jo roshni
faqat aek pal kabhi subh-e-dum tere baad bhi

tujhe jaan-e-gham jo kaha kabhi to ghalat kaha
meri zindagi ke jawan hein gham tere baad bhi
tujhe paas-e-ehd-e-wafa raha mere saath kab
mujhe jaan se barh ker tere bharam tere baad bhi

mere baad kitne hi roop tune badal liye
main wohi hoon ab bhi teri qasam tere baad bhi
tu kisi ke qalb-e-arzoo mein to dhal gayi
main na ho saka kabhi khud mein zum tere baad bhi

teri aahaton ka gudaz tha mera humsafar
yehi ik guman mera hum-qadam tere baad bhi
tu chali gayi sabhi qehqahe samet ker
mere paas hai mera zarf-e-gham tere baad bhi
