Day Light Saving?? Or .. ??

Last night I've got some rough Estimates, that how much we save by Applying day light Saving Rule in Pakistan.. and thats make me laugh.. :) here it goes..

ISLAMABAD: Clocks across the country were moved back by one hour on Saturday midnight.
The government had introduced daylight saving on April 15 to help overcome the electricity shortfall which had touched 4,000 megawatts during summer.


According to rough estimates provided by the ministry of water and power, about 250 megawatts of power were conserved daily thanks to the decision to advance the Pakistan Standard Time (PST) by an hour. A ministry official said that one megawatt cost one million dollars. Source: Dawn News Sunday 01 November 2009


According to the Ministry ONE megawatt cost ONE MILLION DOLLARS . This statement means a saving of 250 Million Dollar Per Day and 7.5 Billion Dollar per Months and During last 6.5 months Government "might have" (might have) saved 48.750 Billion Dollars .


This what the ministry want all the Pakistanis to believe? If this is happening by just using Day Light Saving then what is the need for Kerry Luger bill, and IMF Loans etc, etc .

It does not matter bhai day light ho ya moon light all is matter . jis ko save karna hota hia woh karta hia.. moreover as in pakistan we have alot of kunda method ... jab fREE ki electricity gher per arahi oh .. tu who care about day or night.. here I am taking about middle class family not a upper class. they don;t have to pay the bill. as far as I understand this thread is all about saving electricity.... there are numerous way to save the electricity . here are some of them.
First,We should alway use Energy savers which are good for the consumer of electricity as well as supplier. now you must be thinkin Energy save are more expensive than the usual bulb. but look for the long term. energy save more money in a long run and give better and bright light. now just estimate your self
If you have five bumb in you room . each one of them are 60 WAtt. it means you are consuming most likely 300 watt a time instead of that we can put energey save 15 watt each give you more hours to run as well as brigh light and consume only 70 watt only . .. .. Is ko kehtey hia Bijli ka bill bhi ADHA aur light bhi dey ZADA .. isn;t would it be smart choice ...
Second we should try get electric item on solar panel....specially portable Fan .. Goverment should do that but they won't do it becuase if they start doing that no once use their electricity and un ki dukan ban hojayegi .. there are alot of thing we should take step by ourself. learn how to survive. A Wise MAN said.

nice reply mishter but ek baat aur hum electricity save karey phir kia hoga ? koiye elctricity kisi paan ki dukan per use horahi hogi as cabine jis mei kunda laga hota hie .soo no use
