Khatta Urad Dal
1 INGREDIENTS
* Chilkwali urad dal 1 cup
* Sour curds(whisked with 1 cup of water) 1/2 cup
* Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
* Chilli Powder 1 tsp
* Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
*
* For the garnish:
*
* Coriander(chopped) 2 tbsp
2 COOKING DIRECTIONS
1. Clean, wash and soak the chilkewali urad dal in water for about 15 minutes.
2. Drain and keep aside.
3. Drain, add 1 1/2 cups of water and pressure cook for at least 4 whistles.
4. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
5. Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
