Strawberry Facial Mask
Strawberries make a wonderful cleansing and skin softening facial mask because they contain salicylic acid—which rids the skin of dead cells, allowing it to absorb moisture and look healthy and radiant. Salicylic acid is also a key ingredient in many commercial acne creams, making this facial mask a natural cure for summertime breakouts.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon fresh milk
1 tablespoon rice flour or cornstarch
Directions:
Mash together all the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Spread over your face and neck and let sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry. .
Note: Four ounces, enough for one or two strawberry facial masks.
