As-Salaam alaikum,
Just try considering this for a moment... there appears to be no time shorter than the PRESENT MOMENT, which is defined precisely as the INSTANT that cannot be divided into parts. Yet, this shortest of Divine Days lasts FOREVER.
We never leave the PRESENT MOMENT, because we NEVER LEAVE THE PRESENCE OF ALLAH. If as the Qur'an puts it (57:4): "HE IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE", then He is also with us whenever we are...
