Ingredients:
Beef Mince 1 kg
Yogurt 1 cup
Peeled Peas 1 cup
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chili 1 tbsp
Crushed cardamom 8
Chopped Green Chilies 8
Chopped Mint Leaves 1 bunch
Black Pepper 8
Salt to taste
Lemons 4
Fresh Milk 1 cup
Yellow Food Color some
For Rice:
Rice 2 ½ cips
Chopped Mint Leaves ½ bunch
Green Chilies 3
Black peppercorn 4
Black Cumin 1 tsp
White vinegar 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
For Bagar:
Oil 1 cup
Chopped Onion 3
Small Cardamom 4
METHOD:
• In a pan add in 2 cups of rice and add in ½ bunched mint leaves, 4 black pepper corns, 1 tsp black cumin, salt and 1 tbsp white vinegar. Boil it and drain the water.
• In a pan, add in 1 kg beef , 1 cup yogurt chopped mint leaves,1 tbsp red chili, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, small cardamom, black peppercorn, lemon juice, chopped green chilies and some salt. Cook till the water dries and close the pan.
• For Bagar: Take some oil in the pan; add in 3 chopped onions and 4 small cardamoms. Fry till onion is golden brown. And add in oil in it.
• Grease the pan and layer the rice at the bottom, layer the mince over it and add in onion, lemon juice, and remaining rice.
• Mix some yellow food color with some milk and add it in it.
• Add some lemon juice on it.
• Simmer it for 5 minutes and garnish it with fried onion.
