Police arrest 16 POs in Peshawar

PESHWAR: Police claimed to have arrested 16 proclaimed offenders (POs) in a search operation here on Thursday.

According to police, the search operation was conducted in the limits of University Town in which 16 proclaimed offenders were arrested. The accused were involved in drugs dealing, dacoity and theft.

Two Afghan nationals, living illegally in Peshawar, were also arrested in the operation. A case has been registered against the accused under 14 Foreign Act.
