Easily Disable “WhatsApp Auto Image Download” On Your Android Device

WhatsApp is one of the most effective cross platform messenger app present till date. Apart from live chat, mesmerising features like sharing media and other data are key features that allows WhatsApp to hold number of users with it. Though, sharing media is an amazing feature, but the current WhatsApp version automatically download images even if you are not interested in it and no option is available for you to disable it. This results in large amount of network data consumption. Fed up with those automatic downloads? If yes, this time we are here with a hack that will allow you to disable “WhatsApp auto image download” on your Android device :



*Before you begin, you need :

An Android device running 2.1 or higher version.
WhatsApp Plus app (Follow “Share to get” button to download).




*How to Setup WhatsApp Plus app on your Android:

Uninstall the previous WhatsApp version present on your droid. If you are concerned about losing your chats, it’s better to back up them. For this, head over to WhatsApp –> Move onto settings –> Chat Settings –> Backup Conversations.
Done with uninstalling the previous version? If yes, install the downloaded WhatsApp Plus app.
Open WhatsApp Plus app from app drawer. For the first time only, it’ll ask you to verify your account. Simply verify it, just as you did it earlier.
Now, open Settings and move onto Chat settings.
Simply Uncheck Auto-download images.
Now you are all set to disable auto image download on WhatsApp.

A. Uninstall the previous version and then install WhatsApp plus.

Q. If you are getting error “can’t verify your number” ? (I got the same problem)

A. Uninstall WhatsApp Plus. Then install the official version from Play Store. After verifying your number on official version of WhatsApp, uninstall official version and then re-install WhatsApp Plus.

Itna Mushkil tareeka :(

Lakin disable kerna hi kio hay, bhi acha hay na hud hi download ho jati hay Main tu bad mein manually delete ker deti hon :D

Mushkil Nahi, Lekin Jo Whatsapp K Newbie Hai Un K Liye Zara Detail Mai Explain Huwa Hai =P ..
Sometimes It May Contain Spams Or Bugs, Being Sent Automatically So It's Better To Download It Manually ..
