A USAID funded programe working in the energy sector invites applications for the following position based in Islamabad:
Environmental Expert
Experience and Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of professional technical experience with increasing responsibilities in environmental analysis and hands-on working experience in environmental assessment and monitoring of energy sector projects.
• Demonstrated experience in developing lEEs, ElAs and EMMPs, required under United Stated Government (USG) and GOP environmental regulations, with a clear understanding of environmental mitigation and monitoring issues.
• Prior experience of working with the GOP entities and donors and, familiar with Government of Pakistan and USG environmental regulations and best practices.
• At least Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from a reputed university.
• Fluent in Urdu and English. Knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
