poocha kisi ne haal kisi ka tu roo diye
pani main akks chaand ka daikha tu roo diye

naghma kisi ne saaz peh chera tu hans prey
ghuncha kisi ne shaakh se tora tu roo diye

urta hua ghubara ser-e-rah daikh ker
anjaam hum ne ishq ka socha tu roo diye

badil faza main aap ki tasweer ban gaye
shayed koi khayal se gizera tu roo diye

rang-e-shafaq se aag shagofoon main lag gayee
sagher humarey haath se chalka tu roo diye
