Ik khofzada jeevan le kar
Main maut k ghar mein rehta hoon
Jahan zaat nasal k jhagron per
Hithayar uthaye jatay hain
Har roz kayi masoomon ka
Jahan khoon bahaya jata hai
Jahan maut bhi matam karti hai
Main ussi nagar mein rehta hoon
Ik khofzada jeevan le kar
Main maut k ghar mein rehta hoon
Har roz kisi Maa ka beta
Be maut hi mara jata hai
Har roz kisi ki mayyat ko
Dharti mein utara jata hai
Jis shehar ka naam Karachi hai
Main uss shehar mein rehta hoon
