وہ پیمان بھی ٹوٹے جن کو
ہم سمجھے تھے پایندہ
وہ شمعیں بھی داغ ہیں جن کو
برسوں رکھا تابندہ
دونوں وفا کر کے ناخوش ہیں
دونوں کیے پر شرمندہ
پیار سے پیارا جیون پیارے
کیا ماضی کیا آیندہ
ہم دونوں اپنے قاتل ہیں
ہم دونوں اب تک زندہ ہیں
