Wagah, an one in only Army outpost on Indo-Pak border - between Amritsar and Lahore, is an elaborate complex of buildings, roads and barriers on both sides. The daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.

Lahore wildlife safari park is a new addition to city attractions. It is little far(25km) from the city center and about 10km from Thokar Niaz Baig at Raiwind Road. Although it is no match to African safaris but at least something is better than nothing.
There are lots of varieties of animals but not a very impressive collection though. Just a few typical zoo animals. However, the highlight of whole park is the Lions and Tigers section, with a drive-through. A drive-through. Never had such an experience. Very selective people are allowed to enter that cordoned area having Lions and Tigers, separate though.
There is also a huge aviary for birds, its has large verity of birds, includes Pheasants, Peacocks, Macao, parrots etc
