Dard ke phool bhi khilte hain bikhar jate hain
zakhm kaise bhi hon kuchh roz me bhar jate hain

Is dareeche me bhi ab koi nahi aur hum bhi
sar jhukaye huye chupchap guzar jate hain

Rasta roke khadi hai yahi uljhan kab se
koi poochhe to kahen kya ke kidhar jate hain

Narm awaz bhali baten mohazzib lehja
pehli barish me hi ye rang utar jate hain
