yeh mojeza bhi mohabbat kabhi dikhaaye muJhe
ke sang tuJhpe gire aur zakhm aaye muJhe

wo meharbaa hai tho ikraar kyoo nahin kartha
wo badgumaa hai tho sau baar aazmaaye muJhe

wo mera dost hai saare jahaan ko hai maaloom
daga kare wo kisi se tho sharm aaye muJhe

main apni zaat mein neelam ho raha hoon qateel
gham-e-hayaat se keh do khareed laaye muJhe

I have heard it sung by Jagjit singh and fell in love with lyrics immediately , Mr Shifai is an outstanding Shair and voice of jagjit makes this ghazal a real treat ..
