Ishq maiN kiaa kiaa naadaanii huwii
Haaye kitni paagal jawaanii huwii

pehle sholaa phir panii panii huwii
zindagaanii ki kiaa kahaanii huwii

roz awal hi tujh pe aitabaar kiaa
roz aakhir kyouN naadaanii huwii

daastaaN maiN tumari mera zikr nahiiN
ye tu jaanaaN yaktarfa hii kahaanii huwii

na tuu khuwaab huwa na haqiqat waheed
ju bhii kuch huwaa zoo fishaanii huwii
