محبت ایک بارش ہے





وہ اکثر مجھ سے کہتا تھا
محبت ایک بارش ہے
سبھی پر جو برستی ہے
مگر پھر بھی نہیں ہوتی
سبھی کے واسطے یکساں

کسی کے واسطے راحت
کسی کے واسطے زحمت

میں اکثر سوچتا ہوں اب
وہ مجھ س ٹھیک کہتا تھا
محبت ایک بارش ہے
کبھی مجھ پی بھی برسی تھی
مگر میرے لیے بارش
کبھی نا بن سکی راحت

یہ راحت کیوں نئی بنتی
میں اکثر خود سے پوچھو تو

یہ دل دیتا دہائی ہے
کیا کچے مکانوں کو بھی
بارش راس آئی ہے . . . . !
